(PHECC) First Aid Training (Duration 3 Days)
About the Course:
This 3 Day Pre Hospital Emergency Care Council First Aid Training Course delivers the HSA recognised standard of First Aid to those who are interested in becoming a First Aider. It revises the knowledge, practical skills & understanding required to provide appropriate first-aid treatment in the workplace in compliance with the requirements of the Safety, Health & Welfare at Work (General Application) Regulations 2007; Part 7, Chapter 2: First Aid Training.
Learning outcomes:
On completion of this course, learners will be able to:

Recognise and Assess the causes and effects of sudden illness and/or injury in a pre-hospital environment and call for emergency medical service

React to such pre-hospital emergencies

Respond in a safe, effective, and appropriate manner to such emergencies utilising the First Aid Response skill set.

Record and Report actions and interventions taken while responding to and managing such incidents and during handover to emergency medical services.

Course duration: 3 Days the day could be to suit the learner

Successful course participants will receive a First Aid Responder certificate from the Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Council and the certificate will expire after 2 years.

Course Delivery:
Please note that this course can only be delivered in a classroom setting only due to demonstrations that need to be performed during each session.
If you provide space, please note that you must have a space that allows for the participants and the Trainer to socially distance as per the Covid 19 Guidelines throughout each set.

Please note that the final figures must be to hand when making the booking.
All participants must be available at the time of training.
