Our courses can be delivered through a mix of online blended learning or in a class or meeting room setting.

Manual Handling Training

Learn how to lift safely in the workplace

(3 Hours Duration)

 

Are you aware that 33% of accidents in the workplace are caused by manual handling related incidents?  

 

All employers must ensure that all their staff attend Manual Handling Training or hold a current certificate in Manual Handling before they begin working. All Manual handling certificates must be updated every 3 years.

Safe Pass Training
 

1-day duration

Safepass is a mandatory one-day health and safety awareness programme.

 

The programme aims to raise the standard of safety awareness in the construction industry and to ensure that, over time, all site personnel undergo basic health and safety awareness training to enable them to work on-site without being a risk to themselves or others who might be affected by their acts or omissions.

 

Candidates who complete the programme will receive a Safepass Registration Card.

 

Under the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations 2013, all construction workers in Ireland - including apprentices and trainees - are legally bound to hold a valid Safepass Registration Card.

Fire Wardens Training Course

Being trained to deal with fire emergencies in the workplace (1 Day Duration).

 

The fire warden course will provide you with the knowledge and training in fire safety as required by the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005 and the Fire Services Act 1981.

First Aid Responder - QQI Level 5

QQI Level 5 First Aid Responder

(Duration 3 Days)

This 3 Day First Aid Responder Course delivers the HSA-recognised standard of First Aid to those who are interested in becoming a First Aider.

It delivers the knowledge, practical skills & understanding required to provide appropriate first-aid treatment in the workplace in accordance with the requirements of the Safety, Health & Welfare at Work (General Application) Regulations 2007; Part 7, Chapter 2: First Aid Training.

First Aid Refresher Course

Required every 2 years for anyone who has completed the 3-day First Aid Responders Course

Safety Awareness Training Course

The purpose of this course is for the learner to have the knowledge, skill, and competence to recognize and maintain good health and safety practices in the workplace.

This course is designed for companies who employ their own in-house cleaning staff. This course will give your cleaning staff a better way and understanding of how to clean safely and to care for their equipment.

Static & Retail Security Course

QQI Level 4 4 N1118- (4 Days Duration)

 

This QQI Level 4 Guarding Skills Training Course 4N1118 qualification provides participants with the minimum training requirements determined to apply for the Private Security Authority (PSA) Guarding Skills License.

​

Under new QQI requirements, this course requires 100 hours of learning; 30 hours must be contact time which can only be achieved by attending 4 X 7.5 hours training days. To make up the remaining 70 hours you will be required to conduct a home study element of the course during attendance covering the more theoretical aspects of the program.

Door & Event Security
(4N20611) QQI Level 4
(6-day duration)

The Door & Event Security Training Course qualification provides participants with the minimum training requirements, determined to apply for the Private Security Authority (PSA) Door Security License.

 

Under new QQI requirements, this course requires 100 hours of learning; 30 hours must be contact time which can only be achieved through regular attendance. To make up the remaining 70 hours you will be required to conduct a home study element of the course before attending, covering the more theoretical aspects of the program.

This course requires that you attend a 2-day Physical Intervention training which is a mandatory element of the training.

​

The course carries an exam element that will be at the end of the training.

Response to Threats & Violence -RTVF
Certified by the Security Institute of Ireland 

One-day duration


 

This new programme is designed to add additional life skills, team building, and confidence building to the fore while supporting vocational programmes for those working with the public with face-to-face interactions.

​

It is a short, one-day, on-site, in-person practical programme covering the initial responses to an attack, such as an attempted strike or grab. It applies to all areas where the threat of a personal attack exists, including work-related risks.  It is also beneficial to those who feel vulnerable in any personal or non-work-related setting.

The purpose of this course is to equip the learner with the knowledge, skill, and competence to act as a steward in a sports stadium.

 (4 Weeks Duration)

 

The purpose of this course is to enable the learner to acquire and develop the knowledge and skills required by those engaged in or wishing to progress to the management level within a security department or company.

Fire Warden Training

A Fire Warden plays a crucial role in maintaining safety within a building. Their primary duties include conducting regular fire drills, ensuring that fire safety equipment is accessible and in good condition, and being knowledgeable about evacuation procedures. Additionally, they are responsible for identifying potential fire hazards and reporting them to management. In the event of a fire, the Fire Warden assists in safely evacuating personnel and coordinates with emergency services.
