Delivered over 2 week Period including examination sessions
About this Course:
This QQI Level 4 Door & Event Security Procedures Training Course qualification provides participants with the minimum training requirements, determined to apply for the Private Security Authority (PSA) Door Security License.
Under new QQI requirements, this course requires 100 hrs learning; 30 hours must be contact time which can only be achieved by attending 4 online training days. To make up the remaining 70 hours you will be required to conduct a home study element of the course prior to attending, covering the more theoretical aspects of the program.
The course covers a 2 day physical intervention training sessions including an exam session towards the end of the course.
This course is accredited by the Security Institute of Ireland and is approved by the Private Security Authority.

This course is highly practical, and training includes the use of:

Fire Extinguishers on-site at The Training Centre using a real fire training simulation.

Course Delivery:
This course is delivered in person and online.
All participants must be available at the time of training.
Assessment:
50 Multiple Choice Questions & 3 Practical Assessments.
2 Days Physical Intervention Training and Techniques is included
Entry Requirements
No previous experience is necessary.
Required Information:
All participants are required to bring a form of identification (Passport, Driver's Licence, or Public Services Card) and 2 Passport Sized photos.
Payment:
Please note that the fee for this course is €355.00. In order to reserve your place on this course you will need to pay a non refundable deposit of €100.00 to reserve your place on the course. The remaining balance must be paid on the induction day.
